The 2008 Austin Wine Festival - May 24 - 26th (Sat - Mon)
A uniquely Austin 3-day Texas wine celebration - RAIN OR SHINE!
Wineries from Lampasas to New Braunfels and Fredericksburg to Dripping Springs have bloomed from a pioneering few, into an internationally awarded and recognized wine region... The number 2 wine destination in the nation, second only to Napa! Together they have created the now 2nd annual Austin Wine Festival, the first of its kind in Texas.

What's so different about this wine festival at The Domain in Northwest Austin?
How about the chance to not only taste some of the Texas Hill Country's most popular award-winning wines, but also the opportunity to purchase the wines you like best on the spot – something that only happens in Texas at the AWF! Plus, AWF is thrilled this year to debut the new and exclusively designed Whole Foods Market Bistro! Serving a plethora of wine and cheese combos in their trademark Whole Foods Market setting. This years' festival is even taking place at the future site of the new Whole Foods Market.
Our emphasis on local wines, food and entertainment continues with event proceeds benefitting the Austin Farmers' Market.
Not only is our ability to sell wine unique, but our entertainment and ticket prices rock as well.
Many large wine events are scattered in multiple locations. The AWF is located entirely in ONE location for THREE days. A novel idea so friends have more time to relax, unwind and enjoy some of the best Texas has to offer.
While you taste the splendor of the fruits of our wineries' labors, your kids will enjoy our extravaganzas such as balloon artists, face painting and a huge moon bounce.
Imagine an entire grassy acre of music, food, fun and vino bliss.
We welcome wine lovers, wine newbies, families, friends, the city's finest, South Congress heart and souls, Leslie if he's not too busy and everyone in-between!
No pretenses. No prejudices. Join us for the unique experience known as The Austin Wine Festival at The Domain.
